OUR WEDDING

THE CEREMONY

Our wedding will be held at 3 in the afternoon at Adena Orchard in Jewett, New York.

Please arrive early to allow time for parking and the walk to the Wooded Cathedral.

THE RECEPTION

The reception will follow the ceremony at the same location.

OUR STORY

Our love story began in Brooklyn, New York. We ran into one another one wintry afternoon and, despite being mere acquaintances, decided to get an impromptu lunch at Purity Diner (the spot where Joe would eventually propose...but we're getting ahead of ourselves).

We both remember being overcome by a feeling—sudden, inescapable, and mildly terrifying—that the person sitting across from us would change our lives forever. Fortunately, the sentiment wound up being mutual.

Since that pivotal lunch, we have enjoyed so many adventures. Together, we have stayed on four farms, camped in three states, met dozens of goats, sheep, cows, and chickens, and eaten at countless more diners, though Purity in Park Slope will always hold a special place in our hearts. We are forever grateful for the love and support we have received from our family, friends, and fellows, and we couldn't be more excited to celebrate with you all.

The venue is located about 2.5–3 hours from New York City by car.

The nearest airport is Albany International Airport (ALB), located about 42 miles north, an approx. 1 hour 15 minute drive away.

LaGuardia Airport (LGA) and John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK) are both located in New York City, an approx. 2.5–3 hour drive.

It is possible to travel from New York City via train (Amtrak to Hudson Station) and bus (Trailways to Hunter or Windham), though these stations are not within walking distance and will require guests to use a car service the rest of the way.

WOODSTOCK FARM SANCTUARY

This animal sanctuary is home to countless cows, pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, rabbits, and more. We stayed at the Gray Barn one spring weekend, and it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We recommend scheduling a visit or, if you're open to an all-vegan getaway, becoming a member and spending a weekend at the Gray Barn.

When should I book my accommodations?

We recommend booking lodging early, as this area hosts many weddings every weekend between May and October. Some hotels, inns, and private rentals (Airbnb, VRBO) do not open their books until three to six months in advance, while others open for bookings a year or more out.

What is the dress code?

The dress code is Summer Cocktail. This includes semi-formal attire appropriate for warm and possibly humid weather. Fun colors are welcome! Just please don't wear white. :)

How do I submit my RSVP?

What do I need to know about the ceremony?

Our ceremony is unplugged. To be fully present for the celebration, we kindly ask that guests refrain from using their phones during the ceremony, and to keep all devices on silent during our nuptials.

Our fantastic photographers will be capturing the entire ceremony and reception, and there will be a professional photo booth during cocktail hour to snap and print guests' pictures to take home!
